It was all a bit different for us in October, our speaker Trevor Rudkin gave a very enlightening and informative talk on the matter of judging and then turned his expert scrutiny to our own efforts.
Trevor did what a judge would normally do but we rarely experience: gave constructive feedback on our work, marked out of 20 and held the best back to decide places.
No matter the method, the cream still floats to the top. Ron Wykes, who was already in a clear lead in the open, cemented his place at the top with another well measured entry.
And a previous theme league winner was on form in the “shadows.”
